Old Peculier is a 2014 model Lagoon 450 Owners version. The factory standard specification was elevated to a high level with generator,
air-conditioning, electric throttles, electric heads, upgraded fridge and freezer, 54HP Yanmar engines with SD 60 saildrives.
She was commissioned in La Rochelle during late August early September 2013 by Stéphane Williamson of Gulfstream.
During commissioning a 1000GPD SK Watermaker, and a Raymarine i50 were installed.
Once in the Canaries two Balmar AT-165 altenators with MC-614 regulators and a centerfielder were added. This enabled fast charging of the battery banks during the subsequent Trans-Atlantic.
In the US a bimini was added with canvas work and acrylic glass. The bimini top houses 4 x 345 Watt Sunpower X21 solar panels feeding a Midnite Classic controller. 1380 Watts of solar power has proven more than ample for the ship's needs.
Most recently an ICOM M802 SSB has been fitted along with a reworked instrument panel.
